1995 to present—Founder and president of Sheltie Systems, Inc. Responsible for all phases of operation, including software development and services.

1989 to 1995—Served as the Senior software engineer at ComSonics, Inc. in Harrisonburg VA. Responsible for the development of all Customer PC software.

1970 to 1989—Founder and President of Innovative Management Systems, Inc., a service bureau in Staunton VA. Provided computer services and consulting to many businesses in the state of VA.

1967 to 1970— Served as the first manager of the C.E. Shull Computing Center at Bridgewater College. Responsibilities included creation of software for the Registrar and Development Offices. This software was the prototype used by other colleges in the area. Taught computer programming to faculty, staff and students.

1963 to 1967— Served as a Research Assistant with the Ballistics Analysis Laboratory of The Johns Hopkins University. Developed one of the first Vehicle Vulnerability Analysis computer programs.

1962— Graduated from Bridgewater College. Was one of the first two graduates with a major in Math & Physics in the history of the college.
